Household and professional appliances: what's the difference?

The classification of appliances as household or professional has been determined on the basis of their intended usage, Electrical appliances and electronic devices for use in both household and professional environments are counted simply as household appliances. If they are intended to be exclusively used in a professional environment, they are considered professional appliances. 

Contact an approved collector for your professional equipment

For professional appliances such as large printers, cooling systems, catering equipment, construction machinery and medical equipment, you should use a Recupel-approved collector. This specialist knows how to handle hazardous materials safely and how to recover raw materials for reuse.

A lot of discarded appliances? Become a Recupel point

As a Recupel point, you receive pallet boxes in which you can store your discarded electrical and electronic appliances. A pallet box measures 1 x 1.2 x 1.7 m and can hold around 200 kg of appliances. If the box is full, give us a call and we'll come and collect it free of charge within three working days.
