What is a RecyclePoint?
RecyclePoint is an initiative by Recupel for the retail market, aiming at a more efficient collection and additional service towards retailers and consumers.
It concerns a modular collection module in which several fractions can be collected:
- Small electro
- Light bulbs (energy-saving light bulbs and LED-bulbs)
- Fluorescent lamps
The modules can figure in every possible combination of the fractions mentioned above.
Please read and sign the contract to allow you to become RecyclePoint. After filled in and signed the document, send it as an attachment via mail to logistics@recupel.be.
What are the advantages?
Consumer
An increased discarding comfort
RecyclePoints are set up at places you regularly pass when doing groceries. They catch your eye because of their shape and fresh colours.
You can easily dispose of your light bulbs or small electro for free.
Retailer
Stronger durability image and increased traffic
As a retailer, you confirm and strengthen your durability image by making your RecyclePoint visible and accessible in your store. In that way, you immediately deliver an extra free service to your clients. More convenience and an increased traffic towards your store are a logical consequence.
Recupel
Increased collection results
By increasing the number of collection points and by improving the discarding comfort for the consumer, the number of collected light bulbs and small electro will logically increase: a permanent goal of Recupel.
Collection of a full RecyclePoint
Is your light bulb recipient full? Call our free number 0800 15 880 and we will empty it within 3 working days.
Is your small electro recipient full?
- If you are a registered collection point at Recupel for the OVE fraction and thus dispose of a OVE box pallet, you need to transfer the plastic bag of the recipient to the box pallet, and put a new plastic bag in the recipient. When the box pallet is finally full, you need to make a transport request.
- If you are not registered as a collection point for OVE at Recupel, you can call the free number 0800 15 880. Within 3 working days, we will empty your recipient.
