Maintained in the new agreement
Compensation
If you collect old electrical appliances at a central location (current category F) where Recupel collects them in bulk (containers and/or 26 pallet boxes), nothing changes. You will continue to receive the current compensation, namely a fee per ton and per store location. If you do not currently centralize, meaning that no waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is brought together from different stores to one location, you will continue to receive the current optimization fee of €1 or €1.5 per item/box (when presented in batches of 16 items or 24 items/boxes). The optimization fee of €150 per container also remains in place.
General
Once a year, in January, the settlement of the compensation is made. This is based on the volumes collected in the previous year. The fee per ton will continue to be paid out by Recupel on a monthly basis.
